My Ceramics
My ceramic pieces are meant live in your world as functional art pieces that serve an everyday purpose. My pieces range from mugs and coffee pour overs to planters, vases and wallhangings. These pieces bring a creative aesthetic to your home, in hopes of becoming part of your day to day life.
I create ceramics in small batches. If you are looking for more pieces than what is available here, fill out my contact form for a commission order! I can complete a set or do my best to duplicate a piece.
Please take note that each ceramic piece is handmade. No two pieces will be exactly the same and “imperfections” exist in each piece, but this adds to their individual beauty.
Over the years I’ve explored various ways to represent myself through art before coming to ceramics. Some of which may be available to purchase from time to time here. My work’s primary recurring theme has been a connection to our intuition, our inner knowing that always exists, but sometimes feels out of reach. I find nature to be the path by which we can connect with our intuition, so I use elements of nature as inspiration.
The dichotomy of the oceans to mountainous landscapes has always drawn me, and thus been incorporated in my art. Though both seemed so opposite to me for awhile, they can be found together in the world. The mountains and the oceans also provide similar eye opening and mesmerizing experiences to us as humans. When I began working with clay I felt an amazing parallel between the medium and what I had been trying to do with my work. Bringing the oceans to the mountains directly into my work, as ceramics is a constant balance and exchange of earth matter and water. I hope to bring this connection to you by offering these ceramic pieces as vessels bringing the natural world to simple but meaningful day to day experiences in your life.
